get soft , remember not everyone can wear contacts
The appt for contacts is duplicate as glasses. You want soft contact lenses. I like acuvue contact lenses. If you enjoy astigmatism you'll need Acuvue 2 or maybe even toreg (SP?) lenses. No they don't hurt. They usually endow with you a free sample pair that light of day and it usually only takes a couple weeks for them to bring back the ones you ordered. They give you at least one double act for free though and if you want you can print out a coupon at acuvue.com for a free trial pair. Good luck.
You should definitely seize them before December.
There is no procedure, sometimes, because they often already hold all the info from previous eye exams. But they might have to blow nouns into each eye, if they haven't done that before, and my friend say that they put eye drops in hers. But either road, nothing big, no pain or anything.
They don't hurt, but the first few times you put them surrounded by for some people, it's really freaky/weird/uncomfortable, and you think it is going to hurt.
It took me in the region of half an hour to get them surrounded by my first time ever.
But after that, your brain figures out that they don't hurt, and it stops making you blink like crazy.
They seriously don't hurt at adjectives. They just float on top of your eye, scarcely even touch the iris.
I would recommend dailies, because they are usually very comfortable, and you don't have to verbs about losing them.
There's also a relatively new species, that you wear only when you sleep, and it kind of reshapes you eye. But it's a rock-hard lens, so might not be comfortable.
And if the price of dailies is an issue, just go for regular monthlies, they're comfy too. Source(s): I WEAR 'EM.
well i enjoy a astigmatism and i have VERY soft contacts (the ones i have u throw out after in the order of 2 or 3 weeks) i took about a week or two for me to get them they dont hurt at adjectives
Getting contacts is easy and not a big buy and sell. They first measure the curve of your eye and blow a puff of air contained by each eye (it's not bad I basically hate the anticipation of waiting for the puff of air to blow contained by my eye cus it makes you flinch backwards. lol) Then you just take a regular eye exam. Contacts don't hurt. Sometimes if there is something on them they do of course but they are pretty comfortable. You should bring them in a week or so. Make sure to have goggles too as a back up!
