Help! did i sprain/break my elbow?
ohkay well, im a gymnast and i was tumbling and tripped (im super clumsy) and land on my hand with a strait arm, i hear a loud pop and just started crying because it hurt so bad. I couldnt move it much at adjectives. my coach told me to try to touch my shoulder w/ my hand and i didnt really even come close, it didnt go much leave behind 90 degrees. and i couldnt straighten it all the course either. and my pinky, middle, and ring fiinger were tingling and going kinda numb. My coach said it be just hyper extended and to go home and rime it. I did and it started to feel better but the range of motion worsened for a moment. its been like 7 or 8 hours since afterwards and my elbow is swollen and slightly bruised. i can move it better but my elbow just feels really tight when i try to sstraigghten it too much. its numb right very soon from icing it so much so im rather happy : ) im gonna try to upload a picture of it and add on it on as a detail. please help me!

At first, I was thinking that you probably dislocated it and it popped support in place (it is sometimes called nurse-maids elbow). However, after masses hours and ice, your elbow would be much better and wouldnt bruise/ swell. You might have broken it. I would walk to the doctor to check it out if it doesnt get better soon.
Good Luck and hope you feel better!
Hi. It's greatly difficult to know what exactly happened, although you gave a totally good description. My best advice would be to see a sports physician, whether it is the school's or I don`t know you have to visit the ER since it is the weekend. Your coach have a lot of experience and although he/she could be right, your coach isn't a doctor, soooo...get my drift? The longer you linger for the true diagnosis, the more difficult the healing process will be for you. See an MD. Meanwhile, keep up the rime, and alternate, now, with warmth, off and on ice, warmth, and see a doc.
