Icing an injury??
I injured my calf doing brazilian jiu jitsu. Started icing it yesterday, but today when I put the ice pack on it for about 10 minutes, i get a burn like rash. what is the mete out of this? and is it normal.

never put the ice directly on the skin.

Did you cover the ice pack surrounded by anything or just put it straight on your leg?

It may be discolored for a couple of days, and may be a little bit tender, but in attendance is nothing to really worry nearly. I'd suggest putting a cloth under the ice pack when putting it on your calf, or to soak your leg within a bucket of cold water with rime.
