At your age, your body is changing pretty hasty and your blood pressure is doing some weird things. The drinking would not have help either- Congratulations on quitting!

Try drinking extra water and eating stuff beside extra iron in it: Low iron and mild dehydration both can cause disorientation- to be precise, dizziness.

I do find it interesting that it happens most when you lay on your left side but not your right. You may want to communicate your parents so you can decide whether or not to get a check-up.

Good luck!
See your vigour care provider as soon as possible (ear, nose, and throat specialist). Labyrinthitis is a inflammation of the warren of inner-ear canals that control balance. See your doctor, if symptoms persists beyond two weeks. I hope this helps you. And obedient luck.
