I am a man with lupus and the medicines I am taking are had it and the joint and muscle pain is making me nuts! I am taking so much morphine to backing with the pain but it's not helping much. please if in that is anybody that can help me please let me know.

My doctor have put me on hydroxychloroquine and told me to take steroids in the tablet form, but i refuse to take the steroid tablets because of the consequences. However, they decided it be best if i did take steroids but as an injection instead (they said it was different from the tablet form :S). I currently obtain my injections every 6 weeks and it has had a GREAT effect on my joint and muscle pains.
