2nd H1N1 (swine flu) shot?

My 6 year old received the swine flu vaccination because he is large risk. I was told he needs a second shot. I call a month after the first shot for the second shot and they will not have any vaccination available until subsequent month.
What are the chances the first shot will be enough?

The problem with the shots that they are issuing is that they haven't be tested before so getting a shot might not be the solution for the time being. It's glib for a 6 year old to become contaminated because they always enjoy their fingers in places where they shouldn't be however possible the swine flu does not affect children too hard so I would think that the first shot would be alright in need risking your sons health with another shot which could hurt him more than relieve
For the very young and some of the elderly, the immune system can be slow to certificate the flu vaccine, so there is a need for a 2nd to work as a booster. There is really no way to know if the first shot has awaken the immune system and and so is enough. This is why a second one is needed to be certain. You child may be somewhat protected, but you should get the 2nd shot as soon as it becomes available only to be safe.
The minimum time between shots is 3 weeks, and 4 weeks is considered just right. The booster only works if the initial immune response has have time to develop.

You don't have to get the booster at exactly 4 weeks. You can step any time after the minimum time frame (within reason - up to a few weeks), and the booster will work well.

Even if someone forgets for a couple of months, it is still worth getting the booster. But as time pass, the chance that the booster doesn't work increases.

And even if someone forgets or is unable to find the booster at all, the initial shot does give partial imperviousness. It doesn't give the "robust" immune response they always yak about, but it will make the disorder less severe than if no shot was given at adjectives.
From what I have read on Google, in kids beneath 9 the one dose does not provide complete protection hints the need for the 2nd booster dose. 21 days after the second dose it shows children under 9 enjoy sufficient immune response!
