Are these cold sores or pimples?

At first i got this small bump on my lip 3 weeks ago, it didn't really hurt, and it didn't sheded and it didn't open up until i picked at it. I used Carmex, Campho-phenique (cold sore treatment), honey (natural anti-oxidant). it ddidn't appear to help at all,omg,it be still there. Its still here, it went down alot on this third week, but its still near,l just a regular tiny bump, with a mutilation on top. I had these little bumps b4, ever since i was younger approaching middle school. sometimes they would never open up, or ooze or nil they never itch or hurt, idk. Now just last week i have these other bumps pop up, this time it has a black dot in the middle and i put cold sore stuff on it its still here, nought happens to them. I did research and found that if it has a black dot surrounded by the middle then it could be blackheads, but idk. Ive been trying to carry a doctors appointment but i cant get one till next month :(, i want to know whats going on plz help. If its cold sores this is the first time its got this unpromising, i heard your first is suppose to be your worst i don't remember my first being approaching this, none of the bumps i had affected me, and at hand so small you really have to be in my obverse (nose to nose) to see them. It could be apart of my break out cause i just started this frontage wash, and that's when they started to pop up, as well as other pimples on my frontage, uughh heellp

The easiest way to tell the difference between cold sores and pimples is to squeeze them...if white pus comes out, it's a pimple (bacterial infection), if it's merely clear liquid, then it could possibly be a cold sore (viral infection, won't rationale any pus) Source(s): I work in a hospital..
