69yr antiquated mum told she merely have 13% heart working?
does anyone know if you can live with heart failure and a maximum dimensions of 13%........My beautiful mum was told this communication yesterday and is now very, unbelievably scared as are we. She just have a quadruple bypass, but is continually suffering from accute pulmanary adema....Can anyone give us any good stories more or less living with this

I am indistinguishable age ,so if she puts her trust in the D`rs ,it may be open heart replacement ,ie. valve, by-pass etc. the skills they have today is brilliant ,valve replacement mitral ,aorta ,etc.pacemaker ,etc. I have had repairs also ,conspicuously when she had the quadruple by-pass the cardio ,would have done a cross over ( checked the calcification inside the valves on both sides plus the clearance of the arteries ) so the procedure goes approaching this ,the blood from the heart goes through tubes which pass through rime to cool and enters the various section of the brain,lungs etc.the heart is removed from the body and reconstructed ,then placed wager on into the chest, rejoined to the tubes etc.kickstarted ,and life goes on....but if it can`t be done the heart can be controled near drugs ,lanoxcin will slow the heart ,and slowly rebuild the heart muscle, warfarin will thin the blood so within is no strain on the organ, blood pressure will become regular and a change in lifestyle will be recommended....i preference her well
