6 year aged son, previously oxygen dependent denied swine flu stab?
I have a 6 year old son that during the first 2 years of enthusiasm had many medical issue due to one born very early. Oxygen dependency, lung disease, exceedingly slow growth. Son is still very small for his age and at 6 and a half is roughly the same size as your average 3-4 year old. I thought he would automatically qualify for the swine flu Jab but the GP say not, even taking into consideration his previous chronic lung illness and 02 dependency. I now hear that adjectives under 5s whether healthy or not automatically qualify for the punch, and yet my son who had plentiful previous lung illnesses does not! What can i do to change the GP's mind? Should I go over the GP's pave the way and contact my sons community paediatrician instead? Thank you
