Why is it so unwholesome to starve yourself?

i was thinking of doing only tempoarily next to exercise and then when i lose ten pounds ill do what i generally do which is run every other day two miles and eat as a rule, i rarely eat cast-offs food so yea. and while i am starving myself instead of running 2 miles every other day i will run 2 miles and three station every day. is that ok? i was wondering how long it would purloin to lose ten pounds. and if u dont want to answer that question then you could give an account me why its unhealthy in the first place or what i could do instaed and how long that will bring.
