A put somebody through the mill going on for filling :)?

I had a filling on Wednesday or Tuesday (I be pretty sure I didn't need one & they were after the money) and the woman did it within a rush & a bad job. For example, I considered necessary my mouth numbing & she injected me in the wrong place & had to do it again & after I could still feel pain!
Anyway, she said it would consistency abit round, then smooth out.
How long does it take to 'smooth out' because mine hasn't!
I'm so annoyed at how inadequately she did it.
