When you hold toothache does it other penny-pinching you obligation a satisfying or could it be something else?

I have a dull pain within one of my molars, it's a very very dull/mild misery and doesn't annoy me. It lasted for a couple of hours and now the discomfort has gone completely. Could the cause of toothache be something else and not other the need for a filling?
Answers:
I would say it could be sensitivity, but I don't know that that would last so long.
It can be a fractured tooth, or sensitivity to temperature. It can be an abscess. If it's an upper molar it can be a sinus infection. If you grind your teeth at dark that can cause pains that come and go. As you can see, at hand isn't always a need for a wadding. Source(s): Dental Assistant
Cavities and the want for fillings are a common result in of toothaches, but not the only one. Gum disease, TMJ, cracks, and exposed roots can also result in affliction. Not only that, pain within your mouth is often felt not in recent times in the point of origin...it transfers efficiently and can be hard to pinpoint.
It could be an infection, an abscess.
