Throat Numbing Spray for Dental Molds (Impressions)?

Just wondering, how well does it work. I am a very discouraging gagger, especially when it comes to molds, and i get my braces off surrounded by two weeks. They told me they have a throat numbing spray that helps populace who usually gag during impressions. I am definitely goin to use it I was in recent times wondering how effective is it. I'm looking to know if it completely will preventme from gagging or will it basically help somewhat. Mainly asking those who have used it in the past and know how it feels from past experiences. thankfulness
Answers:
It will help to use the spray. Also mentally keep your tongue as still as possible and anything you do try not to swallow. Let any saliva drip out at the corner of your mouth onto the bib. This is more psychological than anything and I hope this helps. Good luck. Source(s): A dentist
