What sort of retainer for replicated teeth.?

im missing 2 teeth on my top row, and when i get my braces off within a couple of months, i will have a retainer with the phony teeth on it. I was wondering what kind of retainer will it be, resembling the ones with the bar on the outside of the teeth or the ones near the bar on the inside of the teeth??

My friend has aa retainer resembling that but it is the wire thing outside of the teeth sorry if that be the wrong answer for ya!
Are you sure it is a retainer, and not a bridge or partials.
